Founded by Pierre Babolat in 1875, the company began by producing natural gut strings. In 1994 Babolat broadened its range to become a "total tennis" company, and is now world-renowned for its premium quality tennis and badminton equipment. Their racquets are now used by world famous players, including Rafael Nadal and Andy Roddick.
