MANTIS was formed at the start of 2009 by Martin Aldridge. Martin has been a tennis player and a coach for over 30 years. During this time he worked with a number of touring professionals and their custom stringers to provide a number of rackets, strings and grips that are being used on the ATP Tour today. Martin understood the expense that all players incur through participating in sport and became disillusioned with the high prices that were being charged by a number of companies. He therefore set out to produce superior products at vastly superior prices.
