The Vcore 95 is the 8th generation of Yonex’s flagship spin-and-precision racket. Referred to as the most “surgical” frame in the lineup, it’s designed for advanced players who want the control of a compact 95 head but with the aerodynamic speed and snapback that the Vcore line is known for.
The 2026 version features a striking “Ruby Red” cosmetic and introduced several key structural updates to improve forgiveness and stability.
Key Technologies & Updates: – Refined ISOMETRIC™ Shape: Yonex has updated the upper frame geometry to expand the sweet spot by 7% compared to traditional round frames. In the 2026 model, the upper hoop is slightly more “open,” providing more forgiveness on off-center hits near the tip. – Servo Filter: A transparent, elastic film placed between graphite layers. It is designed to absorb unwanted vibrations while maintaining a connected, “crisp” feel at impact. – 2G-Namd™ Flex Force: This specialised carbon fibre reduces energy loss and allows the racket to flex and snap back quickly, which is critical for generating high-RPM spin. – Enhanced Aerodynamics: The frame utilises an Aero Trench and Aero Fins to reduce air resistance. This allows for faster racket head speeds, helping players generate heavy spin even with a smaller head size. – Silicone Oil Infused Grommets: New for this generation, these grommets reduce friction between the string and the frame, allowing for faster string snapback and a higher launch angle.
